Hi - I would like to know if a communication can happen betwteen 2 subnets which are part of same VLAN.

Switch config:

***************

interface vlan 440

ip address 192.168.51.1/22

ip address 172.31.0.1/21 secondary.

We have 2 servers one belongs to ip subnet 192.168.51.10 and another server belongs to 172.31.0.10, both are same in VLAN but different subnet.

both are not able to communication between them. Is it possible they can communicate. Please let me know.

Yes they should be able to communicate.

Have you checked for firewalls etc. that could be blocking the communication ?
