Can I mix and match DNA license levels in a switch stack?

Can I mix and match DNA license levels in a switch stack? We have an EA with Cisco that includes DNA Advanced licensing for all new switches. There are some switches that we have on our network that came in via mergers and acquisition that only have DNA Essentials. Could we add a switch with DNA-A to an existing stack with only DNA-E. Would it work? Would we lose functionality?

See the difference between the 2 license levels. Mix licenses in a stack is usually not a good idea.

If there is no DNA appliance, then there is nothing wrong.
