I have two Nexus 7000
And both two connect to a IPS
I want to connect two Nexus 7000 to the IPS using vPC
And configure the vPC as a SPAN destination
does it work?
thanks

Port-channels can not be the destination for SPAN ports. They can only be the source.

Hello Reza Sharifi,
But in the document,
It says that 'Destination for a SPAN session include Ethernet ports or port-channel interfaces
So It means I can set the port-channel to be destination, right?

Hi,
I don't have any 7ks but a tried it with a couple of 6ks and the Potchannel was not an option for a destination port. Can you try it on your 7ks?

Hello Reza Sharifi,
I will try it but I still want to know if it can set a vPC as a destination
Could it work fine?
Maybe it is different by module
I saw a document that says Nexus 5000 can not configure port-channel as a SPAN destination port
But in this document, it says that Nexus 7000 can
Thanks

Hi,
I think testing will tell, as Cisco has many different platforms, models and line cards and each one can be different.
