I have a bench IE4000 switch which had previously been running on 15.2.4 EA(5) code. I was experimenting with disabling the SD card, but neglected to put the IOS image into the local flash of the switch before disabling this. Naturally it went into ROMMON. However, now I do not seem to be able to re-enable the SD flash from a hard reset, and I don't seem to be able to IE 4000set environment variables for the "Primary Flash". Any commands I set go into the "Secondary Flash", and when I try to sd_init, it tells me that the SD card has been disabled. Here is a picture of the environment variables as they sit right now. The SD Card still contains the image, so if I can get the switch to see the SD card again, I should be good. Any ideas?

In your set values you will see:
DISABLE_SD_FLASH=yes
To set an environment variable for the primary flash you have to specify "-p". For example:
switch: set -p DISABLE_SD_FLASH no
This should work for you. Env variable will then show as:
DISABLE_SD_FLASH=no
