Can you track the HSRP state itself?

Is  there is a way to track to state of HSRP?
So that I could configure something like...

If this is the Active HSRP for HSRP group 1 then
     Redistribute these connected routes into BGP and set local preference to 110
else
     Redistribute these connected routes into BGP and set local preference to 90

It seems like something at RPL could be able to do but I cant seem to find the right commands for it.
