I have a SWR224G4P switch which I do not have the password for so I am looking to reset it ti factory defaults using the console.
I connect via HyperTerminal and get the following text as the switch boots up:
Image Loader 1.0.1 Loading Diagnostic Image File : SRW224G4P_SRW248G4P_boot.bix Diagnostic 1.0.1 User Mode --- Performing Power-On Self Tests (POST) --- DUMMY Test 1 ................. I've tried pressing Enter as instructed but it does nothing and I get no feedback on the screen.
Does anyone know why I cannot get a response to key presses and what I can do to fix this?
Thanks

Hello,
you could also try one of the Hyperterminal alternatives:
