Cannot add NIM-2T inside router in Packet Tracer

I am new to packet tracer so i wanted to connect a Serial DTE cable to a ISR4321 router but when i open the router in packet tracer and went to connect NIM-2T by dragging and droping onto the empty slot but it is not adding (My router power is off)

Os:- Kali Linux 
TBH i was using it earlier it was working fine in Kali but my hard drive failed so i bought a new hard drive and reinstall the Kali after reinstalling Kali i installed packet-tracer and now this is the problem

 Unfortunatelly this is related to your installation, just test here with Windows and it is working fine. And you also mentioned that previously it was working.

 Sounds odd but I think you need to reinstall PacketTracer and make sure you are running the software with proper privilege.
