Hello community,

I am trying to  factory reset and C9200L switch but it does not seem to be working after the final reload I get the message below.

*Apr 4 17:50:16.221: %PLATFORM-4-ELEMENT_WARNING: Switch 1 R0/0: smand: 1/RP/0: limited space - copy files out of flash: directory. flash: value 81% (1554 MB) exceeds warning level 70% (1337 MB).

I then run the command to list the files but not sure what I can delete and how.

Hello
Suggest clean up your flash then try a factory reset once more

delete /force /recursive flash:*.17.09.05.SPA.pkg
delete /force /recursive flash:*.bin
delete /force /recursive flash:sys_report/*
delete /force /recursive flash:core/*

now perform either:

- factory-reset all

-write erase
  delete flash:vlan.dat
  reload

@AbbyDoc ola, warn inidicate ur flash drive is too FULL to process reset, but if i can remember u can free up space -> install remove inactive -> this will clean out old package files.

+ since ur sw is booting from packages.conf in install mode, u can manually remove leftover 470MB installation file -> delete flash:cat9k_lite_iosxe.17.12.04.SPA.bin

Use the following command to factory reset the config of the switch:

factory-reset config

To completely wipe (or clean out) the flash use the following command:

factory-reset all

WARNING:  The command will completely clean out the flash and, because all the files have been wiped clean, the switch will boot into ROMMON.

Please try this:

conf t
 iox
exit
guestshell enable
guestshell destroy
conf t
 no iox
end

If this works, then it is CSCwa71156 & CSCwo59318.

Hello @paul driver,

That all worked thanks.

I used the wipe erase.

However, I cannot access the Day Zero provisioning on the Cisco Catalyst 9200 which is one of the requiments for installation of the switch.

Kind Regards,

AbbyDoc
