does platform Catalyst 1000 support 802.1Q tunneling and L2 protocol tunneling?

I don't think so. According to the document linked below:

Restrictions for Tunneling
IEEE 802.1Q tunneling and Layer 2 protocol tunneling are supported on the following platforms:

Cisco 1000 Series Integrated Services Routers

Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers with the NIM-ES module

Hello Georg,

we are talking about Catalyst 1000 (L2 switch platform) not Cisco 1000 (which is router platform).

It is not seen in Feature Navigator: I am filtering "802.1Q". See the file enclosed.
