Hi,
I have a 2960-X switch which was in stack configuration. Users complained about network connectivity and while checking the stack i got below error.
Switch1#sh switch
Switch/Stack Mac Address : 1c1d.8605.1d00
H/W Current
Switch# Role Mac Address Priority Version State
----------------------------------------------------------
1 Member 1c1d.864a.4180 1 4 Ready
*2 Master 1c1d.8605.1d00 1 4 Ready

4 Member 1c1d.8674.7a00 1 4 Ready
5 Member 0000.0000.0000 0 0 Removed
So i consoled to the 5th Switch, however it didn't respond to any inputs.
All the switchport LED's connected to user machines were showing Solid GREEN Light. Now i removed it from stack and Power-Cycled the switch and got below error.

Executed reset command, which didn't help in resolving the issue. Googling for Cisco documentation didn't help much either apart from finding a thread ( http://goo.gl/BHDXOg )which suggested that switch has gone bad and has to replaced.
Any pointers / suggestions / explanations would be of great help.
Thanks,
Ajay Kumar

Hi Madhu,
Thanks for the input. What i observed is that there no Cisco documentation on this issue apart from few discussions in support forum.
