I have Catalyst 2960 and trying to access the web console. Below is what the page shows. If I click on the web console I am getting an error saying http 404 not found. Any ideals what to try to get this to work?

Post the complete output to the CLI command of "dir".

Ok, the error message makes sense because there is no HTML pages in the flash directory.
If GUI is required then the complete TAR file will need to be unpacked into the switch. The TAR file has the complete set of HTML files needed for GUI.

So what file do I need to download? And is this very hard to upload it to the switch? Reason I am trying to use the web version is because I don't know the commands and all that to do this using telnet or other utilities. Would this be the file LAN BASE WITH WEB BASED DEV MGR
c2960-lanbasek9-tar.122-52.SE.tar ?

So what file do I need to download?
Download the file "c2960-lanbasek9-tar.122-55.SE10.tar". Use this version as it is very stable.
And is this very hard to upload it to the switch?
The CLI command is: archive download-sw tftp://<TFTP IP address>/c2960-lanbasek9-tar.122-55.SE10.tar
