Hello folks,
I'm in a bind right now to get 2 sites interconnected via a trunk using LAN-X link.
I want to bridge both sites by effectively using VLAN translation at the main site so that my offsite vlans effectively translate to the right vlan numbering scheme I have at the main site.
I would like to use the interface command: 'switchport vlan mapping [source-vlan] [destination-vlan]' but the command does not exist!
I have IP Base version enabled on the switch, which should be enough (i know LAN Base does not support).
Switch: WS-C3750X-24
Software: 15.0(2)SE2 C3750E-IPBASEK9-M
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Martin

Hi Martin,
It appears that only the 3400ME switches support this command. I did not see it on a 3850 either.

And others such as the 3750M (MetroEthernet) as well.

How about if I create the remote VLANs at the main site and make access ports for those remote site vlans and then connect those ports to access ports on the VLANs I want them to translate to? (Therefore I would be bridging those two VLANs via interconnects on the same switch.)
Not elegant, but it will work, this is for 3 VLANS. So I would use 6 ports total on a switch to get this done.
What do you think?

To better answer your question, can you provide a topology (layer-2 and 3) of your network?
