Catalyst 3750-X IPSec

0There are two stacks of WS-c3750X-24T-S.

IOS c3750e-ipbasek9-mz.150-2.SE2.bin.

First question is Is it possible to build IPSec tunnel between stacks.

I read https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/263171 about 3750

but repeat the question just in case, because I've got 3750-X.

And the second one is sequent to previous. If it's impossible, then what is IPSec on 3750-X for? Does it work at all?

I can't create an IPSec profile, because of an absence of encryption support by hardware.

ho_c3750_dmz(config)#crypto ipsec transform-set IntraLink esp-sha-hmac esp-3des

Transform IntraLink disabled because esp-3des esp-sha-hmac is not supported by encryption hardware

And it is the same answer on any of combination.

You cant use this feature.

New in Cisco IOS Release 15.0(2)SE

Support for OSPFv3 authentication with IPsec. You can now use the IPsec secure socket API to authenticate OSPF for IPv6 (OSPFv3) packets to ensure that the packets are not altered and resent to the switch. For more information, see the Configuring IPv6 Unicast Routing chapter of the software configuration guide on Cisco.com.

Support for IKEv2 and IPSecv3 protocols. (IP Base image for Catalyst 3750-X, 3560-X, 3750-E and 3560-E switches)
