Is there another way I can reset my Catalyst 3750X to factory default besides holding down the Mode button because it did not work for me (several times).  I pulled the switch from a stack.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Alfred

Hello Not sure why this hasn't worked it should have http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750x_3560x/hardware/installation/guide/3750x_3560x_HIG/HGTRBL.html#wp1060415 Do you have a console cable attached when you reset the switch? Res Paul

If you can can "log on" to the device (console?) you should be able to erase startup.

Hi Paul,

I was consoled in and I was able to run the command "write erase" and the delete "vlan.dat"  After the the reload, the switch was still showing the stacks, so I ran the "no provision command" and the reload again.  It finally worked.

Thanks!
