I have a new Catalyst 3850-12S that I cannot access through Express Setup.
Following the instructions I wait for post to complete, press Mode and wait for the other LEDs to light up then plug in a computer to the management port. The switch does not hand out a DHCP address. If I put in a static (10.0.0.2) then the switch web server cannot be found at 10.0.0.1
I have tried resetting the switch, different cables, different PCs, all without any change in behaviour. I do not have any other RJ-45 to try, just Management and console as it is a fiber switch.
What am I missing? Anything I can try, anyone else have a problem lik ethis?

From your PC can you ping 10.0.0.1 ?

No, If I use DHCP it picks up the autoconfig address. If I put in a 10.0.0.2 as a static address it cannot find the webserver and does not ping 10.0.0.1
I do have the 4 leds on top and two on the bottom lit, so it thinks it's in Express Setup

The only thing I can suggest is restarting the switch and then using the console connection and configuring from the CLI.
