We are transitioning from older Brocade layer 3 switches to Catalyst 3850 switches with the DC power supplies. With the Brocade switches we ran one power supply to A power and the other power supply to B power. The CPWR-C1-440WDC power supplies of the 3850's have A/B feeds from each power supply so if we install all feeds on the 3850 it will double the amount of power feeds required from the fuse panel. Is it ok to run one power supply to A and the other to B and leave the other feeds empty?

I am not familiar with DC power supplies but if they work the same as AC power supplies with one plug you get 220W and the same for the other PSU. So, if a total 440w is enough to run the system then it should be fine.
