I have some Cisco Catalysts 3850 switches, model WS-C3850-12X48U-S.
I noticed that the airflow is currently rear exhaust. Can the fans and power supplies be replace with
portside exhaust? We are moving this equipment to a data center with specific hot aisle cold aisle
requirements and the current airflow setup needs to be reversed.
So can this be done on this model?
And, what are the part numbers for the replacement fans and power supplies?

Hi,
No, that is not possible on the 3850 series, as they are fixed. The solution to this issue could be that you may want to rack the switch the opposite way so it exhaust the hot air to the hot aisle.
