Hello,
I'm usually working with Mikrotik and in Mikrotik I can create independent L2 bridges in the same router to carry independent traffic, is it possible in catalyst 6509?
I want to have for example, the first 10 ports in the same layer2 broadcast domain and don't see anything from other ports.
What I want is to make separate bridge domains to separate different traffic from different zones and then connect them between with virtual links.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
On Cisco switches, you can configure VLANs to separate L2.

Hello,
Yes I know I can use vlans to "group" interfaces but what i want is to totally isolate them and dont tag anything.
