Catalyst 6500 E Chassis EOL Notices

Hi Everybody,

Can anybody tell me please if there are any EOL notices out for the Catalyst 6513, 6509 etc E chassis? I cant find anything on the internet for the E variant, so assume this hasnt had a notice published yet.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

The 6500 E chassis are not end of life.  They are being sold and supported.  There is actually a new sup (2T) out for it.

Hi Darrel,

As Reza stated the 6500E series chasis are not EOL decided/declared by cisco as of now hence you dont see it anywere if you google it.

There are few enhancement going on for 6500E series switches and one of them which is stated above which is Sup(2T) and more to come in following months which makes 6500 switches much more added advantage.
