Hello,

I have a pair of Catalyst 9500-48Y4C with 16.10.1 IOS XE, which is the minimum IOS to support Stackwise Virtual.  Has anyone deployed Stackwise virtual using 9500-48?  If so, any issues?  Also, did you use ePAgP dual-active-detection?

Any input regarding your experiences with stackwise virtual is welcomed.

Thanks!

I did some test in LAB, as long as you understand the requirement of deployment environment and meet the requirement you are good.

For your question for Pagp :

EtherChannel Control Protocols

Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) and Port Aggregation Protocol (PAgP) packets contain a device identifier. Cisco StackWise Virtual defines a common device identifier for both the switches. Use either PAgP or LACP on Multi EtherChannels instead of mode ON, even if all the three modes are supported.
