Looking to see if there are any resources to estimate 'typical' power/current consumption of the 3400H-8FT switch. I'm working on power modeling for a mobile application, and it's very sensitive to the draw on the 24VDC bus. Using the published number on the Datasheet (appx 30W) has an outsized impact on power budget compared to the rest of the control hardware. I believe the 30W figure is a 'maximum,' more appropriate for component sizing (circuit protection/wire gauge) and not necessarily valid for 'normal' draw.
Of note, the online power calculator for switches and routers does not have an entry for the Industrial/Heavy Duty 3X00 switch series sadly.
