Catalyst Instant Access: EtherChannel distributed via parent and client?

Hello,

can we build a EtherChannel that has some ports on the parent switch (C6807XL-) and some on the client (C6800IA-48TD)?

Is that scenario supported now and if not will it be supported in the future?

Not according to the configuration guide:

From page 2:

IA client ports do not support these features:
* Configuring EtherChannels with combination of FEX Ports from different FEX-IDs or
combination of FEX ports with IA parent switch linecard ports is not supported.
* FEX host port EtherChannel load balancing is not supported.
