catos interface description length

Hi team,

We have a php script to generate interface configuration for 6500 IOS & CatOS.

1. I heard there is a restriction on CatOS interface description to 16 or 24 characters?

could you please suggest whats the max number of characters can be used for CatOS interface description ?

Hello Sanjeev,

on C4000 with CatOS it was only 21 chars you should be fine with same limit also for C6500 CatOS
