CEF between Cat 6509 and Cat3550

Hi All

Can I run CEF with load balancing, also per destination between 2 different Cat 6509 and 2 Different Cat3550 over 2 x 1GB Link?

Hi Friend,

Yes certainly you can run CEF load-balacing in this scenario. All the routes should be in the CEF table.By default CEF-does per-destination load-balancing. If you want to do per-packet load-balancing then you have to set ip cef load-balance per-packet under the interface.
