Change the password of switch

Dear All,

we have configured password and secret password (I Know the both passwords)  for Cisco Catalyst 2960x switch. i want to change the password from old to new

Do you log in with just a password, or a username and password?

Is this via the console or via telnet?

The first password you need to change is the "enable password".  In your config you will have a line like "enable password xxx" or "enable secret xxx".  Which ever one you have, use the same line and just put in a new password.  Make sure you save the config afterwards.
