Check Cisco 9300 switch on Cisco IOS v16 against CIS 15

Hi,

We are reviewing our config on 9300 switches for compliance with CIS configuration benchmark standards.

The switches are running 16.6.x Cisco IOS XE Software releases however, the CIS config standard available is Cisco IOS 15 (Benchmark v4.0.0).

Does anyone know if there are any significant differences between 15 and 16 releases that would affect using CIS config benchmarks for IOS 15 against IOS 16 and above?

As far as im aware no , we spoke to TAC and our ACC manager in Cisco before regarding this , they said nothing was removed like that moving between versions but more likely extra has been added features fixes etc
We have had no issues with 16 releases so far
