Choose best fitted CISCO Router

Hello everybody,

I´m searching for a Router for our Company, but got confused a little bit on which Router fit to our Infrastructure. It would be nice if someone can help me to choose the best type. Below is a list of our Requirements:

We need to use the following:

1. VPN 

2. Remote Access

3. Internet Load balancing/Failover

4- NAT

5- First Internet Speed: 100 Mbps ( will be upgraded later to 400 Mbit).

6- 2nd Internet Speed: 25 Mbps.

Our Company is only a developing/programming company, so there are only 20-25 employees (some of them worked remotly) with about 15-20 physical/virtual server, while most of the Servers only for testing and debugging.

We are also starting to use Azure Clouding, so we should consider it, if we are going to buy a Router.

I have looked in the Small Busniess RV series, like "Cisco RV352 Dual Gigabit Wan VPN Router". Does it fit with the above requirments? We also need a router that will be supported with new Firmwares and updates.

Hey I presume that should be 325 , that's not a bad choice for an SMB router but if your looking to get that 400mb speed on IPsec vpn that router will not do

You will get 100mb max with vpn running on that device, you will get it without IPsec in use , but then again if your home users are using SSL you only get 20mb connection and when the doc provides those stats its best scenario , in real world unlikely you will get that as the more features enabled the more the router struggles to provide the full throughput

To get these kind of wan speeds you would need an enterprise level router but the difference in price may not be worth it , good doc on some of the throughputs in enterprise routers bearing in mind again that these are Ciscos stats you may not get exactly that
