I have a Cisco 1841 that I'm trying to create an EtherChannel however it doesn’t appear to be accepting the commands (int p1, int fa0/0 -> Channel 1). The router is running IOS Version 15.1(4)M10. Is there some form of hardware limitation I am missing?

Hello Thomas,
Yes, there is a hardware limitation. Firstly, the router needs a EtherSwitch module such as the NM-16ESW to support the port-channel feature.
In your case, the only supported etherswitch module for the 1841 ISR is the HWIC-4ESW and the port-channel feature is NOT supported in it, then it is not possible for a 1841 ISR to use a ether-channel.

Hope it helps, best regards!
