Hi
Can you not boot from internal flash instead of USB ? it looks like its having an issue reading it , maybe the format that the USB is in is incorrect , what format is it currently set to ?

usbflash1: not present
The USB flash is "shorting". The pins are not contacting each other. The moulding of the USB flash itself is preventing this. Get a file and shave off the moulding or try a different variety of USB flash.
