I believe I may have uploaded incorrect software to this switch and have tried to correct it, but when i login to it via the web management interface, i click on virtual switch manager and I get a gray screen that an applet can't be loaded and another IE window with 404 not found. I am using java 1.4. I have tried using cisco network assistant also. What i am trying to do is disable spanning tree protocol on certain ports that workstations are connected to b/c i suspect it is the cause of network errors in my windows 2003 environment.
I also have recently tried to update the software using both network assistant and also using network assistant with a TFTP client and I keep getting errors. Any thoughts?
