Cisco 2940 8-TT-S able to do SSH?

Good morning all,

I have a Cisco 2940 8-TT switch that currently has no SSH or Crypto capability due to the IOS: c2940-i6q4l2-mz.121-22.EA14.bin. What IOS is available for this switch that has at least some crypto and or SSHv1 capabilities??? please help!! This will be for a lab environment of course.  :)

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(22)EA6. This compatible wtih cisco 29408TT, This IOS Design to suit the need of Secure shell .

your image must have a K9 in it to support crypto for ssh , the 2940 is eol and the software is not available on Cisco website anymore for that platform

For 2940/295x Catalysts SSH capabilities is shown by a "k2" in the IOS image name - as Mark said, you won't find those available for download on Cisco's website anymore, but Google says you can find the crypto-enabled version of your current image here:
