cisco 2950G switch memory utilization observed 60% and above with init process taking more memory. Do we have cisco document to confirm whether it is normal behavior for cisco 2950.

Hi,
CPU utilization value of 30 percent to 50 percent, even under minimal load is normal value in switch 2900xl and 3500xl,Check out teh belwo link for troubleshootinh high CPU value in 2900 series switches.

Hi,
Normally in idle condition below 50 % and if it has no load with
utilization more than 50 % there is some porblem,Check out the below link
for trouble shooting on switches for memory problem
