Hello,
I have many hidden files in Cisco 2960 switch need to format flash memory completely, to its original size.
I do have config backup and everything.
Kindly suggest the command line for the same.

Will it go in ROMMON mode or it it will boot with factory IOS?

You want the "Cisco method" or the "nice, quick and easy"?
Cisco method is delete all the unwanted files using the command "delete /f /r flash:filename.extension".
Nice quick and easy method is format the flash using the command "format flash:" and then copy the IOS back into the switch.

Is a same way we need to upload the IOS in Cisco Switch as we do in Cisco router in ROMMON mode?

hi,
it will go to rommon if you reboot the switch after the flash format.
