Cisco 2960 Switches

Hi All

I have trawled through the Cisco website and am struggle to find the answers to the below question, is any able to help

• Do the Cisco 2960 and 2960S      series switches support 802.1X-2004?
• Cisco 2960, is there a planned end of sale for these switches?

Hi,

we have implemented 802.1x/EAP-TLS with Catalyst 2960 since a few years and all work fine!

The network has more than 400 switches to serve to more or less than 3000 users and 900 printers.

Our models are the following:

WS-C2960-48TC-L

WS-C2960-48TT-L

WS-C2960G-24TC-L

WS-C2960-48PST-L

WS-C2960-48TC-L

WS-C2960-48TT-L

WS-C2960-24PC-L
WS-C2960-24TT-L
WS-C2960-24TC-L

WS-C2960-8TC-L

The last announce are for C2960G models but I recommend you C2960S family.
