I have connected a new switch in my office last week that is Cisco 2960 TCL. But I didnt configured the switch yet but its connected and working fine. The switch took an IP address from my DHCP server. Now I want to configure the switch. But I cannot log into the switch. When I want to telnet the ip it shows a message "Password required, but none set". When I browse the ip typing in my internet explorer it shows user name and password. But I didnt set any one of them. When I cancel the window it shows unauthorized access.
Is there any other way to configure the switch without disconnecting from the network or disconnecting any other device connected with it?

Hi,
Is there any other way to configure the switch without disconnecting from the network or disconnecting any other device connected with it?
use console cable : http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps700/products_tech_note09186a008010ff7a.shtml
Then:either
1) username xxx privilege 15 secret xxx
line vty 0 15
login local
2) enable secret xxx
line vty 0 15
password xxx
login
and for http: ip http server
ip http authentication local
