Cisco 2960-X/XR Full Netflow supported or not ?

Hello Team,

I had a query , Will Full Netflow will be supported on Cisco 2960-X switches ?

If yes , Then how can we use with stealthwatch or network as a sensor.

Hi,

2960x support flow exporter and I don't think you can configure it to act as a Stealthwatch flow sensor.  You would have to get a Stealthwatch flow sensor (could be a VM or physical box) and test it that way. Stealthwatch is a pretty good product and it is owned by Cisco now but it is pricey.

Flexible NetFlow is supported on the Catalyst 2960-X Switch and the Catalyst 2960-XR Switch with a
Cisco ONE for Access license. Catalyst 2960-XR is not stackable with the Catalyst 2960-X platform.
The following restrictions apply to Flexible NetFlow and Flexible NetFlow Lite:
General Restrictions:
• InterSwitch Link (ISL) is not supported.
• Policy-based NetFlow is not supported.
• Cisco TrustSec monitoring is not supported.
• Access control lists (ACL)-based NetFlow is not supported.
• Only NetFlow Version 9 issupported forFlexible NetFlow exporter using the export-protocol command
option.
• NetFlow Version 5 is not supported.
