Hi All,
I would like to know the following questions.Pls help me
I have 2960X data stack two switch, one is active and one is member(only data stack,no power stack) that are connected to one for PDU A and one for PDU B.The coming day datacenter will be shut down the power on PDU A.In this case,Active 2960X must be shutdown.I would like to know this Active 2960X can replace active when power on or need to reboot member switch.I configure priority level 15 for active and 5 for member.
Cheers!

no need to worry. this is what stacking is designed for.
when the active master goes down for some reason one of the other switches in the stack take over the master role
so all management functions wil be handled by the other stack member.
NB! because no power-stacking , all ports of switch member-A go down
but if you configured your connected devices with ether channels across both members,
all data wil be processed by the links to member-B
normally the configuration is such that member-A does NOT automatically become master again!
this is to avoid flapping if member-A has a recurring problem,
