Cisco 3550-F L1 Matrix Switch Capability

Hello,

I wonder to know Cisco 3550-F Layer-1 matrix switch routing capability. Does this switch supports VLANs and can do static routing ? Its not so clear in its datasheet.

I guess this switch is only for network tapping , nothing else.

for me the SW support VLAN and you can config static route in this SW series

Hello,

I have read the following document and confused . It says there Cisco 3550-F Modular L1 Matrix Switch and Programmable Multiplexer Switch Datasheet. It seems that there are two different switches with different functionalities. Am i wrong ?

this is NSK so you need feature 
feature inter-vlan <<- for VLAN 

for static you dont need any feature. 
but I will take look to your datasheet (which I think talking about the fix via module add port to NSK ).
