I have a cisco 3560 which hangs. I am able to ping the switch and connect via snmp to see some of the information but cannot telnet to it. Users are losing connections. I am running the following version of software - Cisco IOS Software, C3560 Software (C3560-IPBASE-M), Version 12.2(25)SEE2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1). any assistance would be appreciated.

Please post the output from the boot sequence including the self test (POST).
Any errors there? If so, you may have a hardware problem.

The system seems to have rebooted itself and is working OK at the moment. The hanging happened on another switch which we then replaced with the current one. This one has worked fine for several months but now has started hanging.

If two devices are showing the same problem this is likely a configuration issue.
Any policing active on this switch?
Perhaps other (unusual) configuration settings that may affect performance?
