Cisco 3560G vs. 3560X

I'm comparing two 48-port gigabit enhanced-layer switches. Has the 3560X switch replaced the 3560G and are there significant differences between the two? Any input would be appreciated and thanks for your help.

The main difference between the "X" and the "plain-Jane" are the following:

1.  "X" uses universal IOS.  If you, for example, incorrectly ordered a unit with IP Base but you need IP Services feature set, all you need to do is enter the license key and reboot the appliance.

2.  "X" has stackable redundant power supply.  "G" doesn't.

3.  "X" has removavle/replaceble fans.

4.  "X" now has USB support to allow a multitude of functions (from copy of files to and from the appliance to boot the appliance from ROMmon using USB).

5.  "X" now has Management port.

The forwarding bandwidth for the "G" is 32 Gbps whereas for the "X" is 160 Gbps. Significant difference for roughly the same price.

The "X" also has modular uplinks, so you can change it from 1 Gig uplinks to 10 Gig (copper or fiber)
