Hi All,

I have use the following commands to limit my bandwidth to 50 percent.

enable>Configure terminal>interface gigabitethernet1/0/1>srr-q

ueue bandwidth limit 50

Now I verified that it took affect by seeing by running show Ip interface brief and it is listed on the interface, However it does not take affect. It still runs at maximum speeds.

The Troubleshooting steps I took : I was trying to add an IP address statically to the interface and got an error (please refer to the attachment)

Isaac,

To configure your ip address on the interface try this :-

!

int g1/0/1

shut

no switchport

ip address 192.168.0.50 255.255.255.0

no shut

!

Alex.
