Cisco 3750 vs 3850 and When to use a Catalyst Switch

Hello All,

Our company is not big in fact users are around a thousand only. Can someone help or explain when to use catalyst switch like the 3850? Also, would a 3750 works as a replacement? Pardon me for the question, I'm a starting to learn more about the models of these cisco switches. Thank you in advance...

3750 series family of switches is old and Cisco has announced the EoS/EoL.  The replacement for the 3750 is either the 3650 or the 3850.

As Leo mentioned, Cisco has announced the End of Sales and End of Life for the Cisco 3750 switches.
