Cisco 3750X - High CPU utilization - Hulc LED Process

Hello everyone!

One of our clients 3750X is showing higher than normal CPU utilization (an average of 30%-40%), specifically on the Hulc LED Process taking almost 20%.

I have encountered the issue of Hulc LED Process high CPU utilization before across many Catalyst switches, but didnt see an exact solution or fix for the issue.

Hopefully you could tell us if what we see is normal, based on our current version and configuration.

Im attachinga file with the output of Show Version, Show proccess cpu sorted and history commands.

The "Hulc LED" process does following tasks:

- Check Link status on every port

- If the switch supports POE, it checks to see if there is a Power Device (PD) detected

- Check the status of the transceiver

- Update Fan status

- Set Main LED and ports LEDs

- Update both Power Supplies and RPS

- Check on system temperature status
