Hi,
I'm confused about the throughput of 3750-X using stackwise plus in an incomplete ring.
According to this table throughput per port is 16 Gbps per ring (bi-directional) x 2 rings per stack port = 32 Gbps per stack port

So does that mean that in an incomplete ring (half ring configuration) throughput will be 32 Gbps in one direction or bi-directionally?
Regards,
Justin

Each switch has two stacking port. If one port is cabled up then you only get 16 Gbps throughput, instead of 32 Gbps.

Hi Leo,
Thanks for the response.
But why does the table indicate a speed of 32 Gbps per port?

Justin
