Having problems with a brand new Cisco 3850. Crashes with a Kernel Panic error as listed below.
Im raising an RMA request and sending this switch back to Cisco so they can investigate but wanted to know if anyone else has seen this or had any luck fixing it.

Ross,
Has the device came back online after the crash?
If no then there is a hardware issue and you have done the right job of creating the RMA for the same.
Thanks

No I went through the recovery procedure and tried to perform the emergency-install from rommon but as soon as it boots the recovery image it crashes again.

Got it. I would suggest no more troubleshooting go ahead with RMA and get a new box.
HTH
