Folks,
What would be the advantages vs disadvantages to use something like 5 Cisco 3850's in a stack vs using a Cisco 4507 switch?
How could the cost/performance/management turn up?
Thanks,
N

There are several reasons why it's better to choose a stack of 3850 vs 4500R+E.
Budget plays an important role. The amount of line cards, space required, power consideration.

Leo's post notes advantages of the stack.
Perhaps a couple advantage of the 4500 chassis, it offers a true fabric between line cards and 4500's hardware and software are more "industrial grade". It also offers VSS.
