Hi I apolgize in advane if these questions are extremely easy Im still a beginner.

If the Cisco 3850 switch has a 115V/12A power supply,

We have 3 of the switches

if we go with(it’s called 208 power I think(the big round connectors)) 208V/30A power in a network closet, will we be safe to plug up all 3 switches with full POE power?

Thank you,

Usman

Hi Usman,

As you know the cisco 3850 switches shipes with either of five power supply (350WAC, 715WAC, 750WAC, 1100WAC, or 440WDC) and cisco documentation says that The 350-W and 715-W AC power supply modules are autoranging units that support input voltages between 100 and 240 VAC. The 1100-W power supply module is an autoranging unit that supports input voltages between 115 and 240 VAC.

Based on that i belive you can calculate the Volts required for 3 switches.

Hope it Helps..
