Cisco 3850 WLC Upgrade

Hello guys

I try to update a 3850 WLC and 10 AP`s 2702I. I download the Image cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.09.03.SPA.bin and try to intall it via GUI, but this fails with the following output: Cisco package depencies not satisfied, operation aborted.

Can i use this command: software install file flash:cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.09.03.SPA.bin new force?

The WLC is in Install mode. And after that, i can execute the ap image predownload to upgrade the AP`s after the reboot as well?

Did someone read the Release Notes for 16.9.X?
If the 3850 is configured as Convered Access (CA) then the last firmware to support CA is 16.3.X.
16.9.X will disable the switch from becoming a WLC.

Thanks for your replay. No i do not see this in the Release Notes!
So i need the Denali 16.3.9? This should work?

Sorry i am new in that, its not that easy to see and check everything...

If the 3850 is a WLC, then stay with 16.3.X.
