Cisco 4507 CPU issue

Dear guys

My company is using 2 4507 switch (running VSS, 1 active, 1 stanby)

Each switch has a control card: WS-X45-SUP7-E

WS-X45-SUP7-E

CORE-C4507-VSS#sh processes cpu
Core 0: CPU utilization for five seconds: 21%; one minute: 19%; five minutes: 18%
Core 1: CPU utilization for five seconds: 86%; one minute: 87%; five minutes: 87%

CORE-C4507-VSS#sh processes cpu | ex 0.00
Core 0: CPU utilization for five seconds: 6%; one minute: 10%; five minutes: 15%
Core 1: CPU utilization for five seconds: 99%; one minute: 95%; five minutes: 89%
PID Runtime(ms) Invoked uSecs 5Sec 1Min 5Min TTY Process
4184 79948 952285 83 0.04 0.02 0.03 0 system_mgr
4453 2583202 13113339 196 0.44 0.39 0.40 0 ffm
4456 314968 1003254 313 0.04 0.04 0.04 0 cpumemd
4498 3892794 596959568 574 52.3 52.2 52.2 34816 iosd

I see that the CPU Core 1 is always high, some time it exceed to 99% while Core 0 is free all time ?. So some time I feel some connections are slow, I guess that is processed by Core 1 CPU.

I found WS-X45-SUP7-E use dual core CPU, so both Core 0 and Core 1 are located in single switch or each of them on a switch ?

Can someone help me to clear this issue. Thank you !

3.6.6?  Wow, that's old.
What are the uptime of the physical units?

2 Core switch was working well (1 is active, 2 is standby), and just a few days ago 2 core switch had to restart by an electrical power issue. After that so many connections ( not all) was ultra slow. After I change 1 to standby, 2 to active, it looks OK now. But I see the big difference CPU load between core 0 and core 1 then I want to know is it OK
