Need to setup 6500 as pppoe server, I am not seeing commands I have on other platforms such as ( bba-group , vpdn-group )
Whats needs to be done to use a 6500 as a pppoe server?

Hello Dan,
it looks like your C6500 has a supervisor 2 installed from the image name that appears in show ver.
if so MPLS requires specialized linecards like OSM or WAN gigabit interfaces.
AToM (Any Transport over MPLS) could be of help allowing you to send the PPP sessions to some other device but it is not possible at the moment if you haven't at least a sup 720 3BXL.
I would have been surprised to see PPPoE supported on this platform. If you have a C7200 VXR it can be a valid solution.
Hope to help

Dan,
Using the feature navigator, this feature is not supported on the 6500 series.
I am running 12.2.(33)SXI and I tried it and the command is not there.

Is there a way I can handoff pppoe sessions to an external server? L2TP?
I need to terminate 100 ATM PVCs on this router, or an external pppoe server.
Thanks,

I am new to MPLS, could this be benifical to me in this situation?
I also do not have to use pppoe, although I would prefer to.
